Pikey Peak Trekking
The Pikey Peak trek might not be well-known, but it’s one of the finest treks near Kathmandu for viewing Mt. Everest. This trek is a new addition to the Solukhumbu region (lower Everest region) and is suitable for travelers of all ages due to its minimal altitude gain.
One of the standout features of the Pikey Peak trek is that trekkers don’t need to take the famous Lukla flight to reach the trek’s starting point. Instead, a scenic 7 to 8 hours drive from Kathmandu will take you to the trailhead. From there, you’ll follow a tranquil route through lush forests and hillsides to Pikey Peak.
Join us on this amazing journey into the largely unvisited lower Everest region. You’ll get to see breathtaking views of many eight-thousander mountains and interact with the Sherpa community. This short 9-day trek is packed with adventure, experience, and excitement!
Highlights:
This trek near Kathmandu is one of the finest for viewing Mt. Everest and is suitable for trekkers of all ages, including families. You’ll see several of Nepal’s eight-thousander mountains, such as Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, and Dhaulagiri. The trek explores the less-visited lower part of the Everest region (Solu) and offers peaceful trails through lush forests and picturesque villages.
