What to Expect:

The Mardi Himal trek starts from Kande, located close to Pokhara. From Kande, you will trek to Australian Camp and ascend to Pitam Deurali to spend the night. The trail then enters a dense forest covered with rhododendrons and other vegetation. Your next stop is Low Camp.

Continue trekking through lush forests and pass by Badal Danda before reaching High Camp. From here, you will climb to Mardi Himal Base Camp, following a steep ridgeline. Enjoy a gorgeous sunrise and breathtaking mountain views from the base camp. The return trek is downhill to Siding.

In Siding, you will have the opportunity to interact with locals and experience the mountain lifestyle. The final downhill trek will take you to Lumre, where the trek ends. From there, drive to Pokhara and spend the evening enjoying the tranquility of Phewa Lake and the bustling Lakeside Market.

The next day, drive back to Kathmandu, marking the end of your 9-day Mardi Himal trek. This journey will leave you with unforgettable memories and a camera full of stunning pictures. You can also extend the trek to Khopra Danda or Ghorepani Poon Hill if desired.

Itinerary

Day 01 :
Welcome to Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives from Trekking Guide Team Adventure will greet you. They will assist with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel using a private vehicle. After settling in, join us for a trek briefing and preparation session.

Day 02 :
Journey to Pokhara

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu behind, we'll drive to Pokhara, known as the city of lakes. The journey is comfortable and scenic, offering views of lush hills, rivers, waterfalls, terraced fields, and mountains. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at Phewa Lake and explore the Lakeside Market.

Day 03 :
Drive to Kande and Trek to Pitam Deurali

The drive from Pokhara to Kande offers beautiful countryside views and snow-capped mountains. From Kande, we'll start trekking through lush hills and forests, heading to Australian Camp and then to Ponthana. Along the way, enjoy great views of the Annapurna range. The trail ascends to Pitam Deurali.

Day 04 :
Trek to Low Camp

After breakfast, we'll trek north from Pitam Deurali to Low Camp. The trail enters a dense forest with rhododendrons and other vegetation. Keep warm clothing handy as the forest blocks the sun's rays. Enjoy the refreshing scent of the forest as we ascend to Low Camp. The view of Mt. Fishtail is fantastic along the way.

Day 05 :
Trek to High Camp

Today, we'll trek above 3,500 meters. From Low Camp, we'll pass through a lush forest of oak and rhododendrons to Middle Camp, then climb to Badal Danda for breathtaking mountain views. The trail continues along the Mardi Himal ridge to High Camp, where we can see Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Fishtail, and Mt. Hiunchuli.

Day 06 :
Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp and Descent to Siding

We'll start early and trek to the highest point of our journey, Mardi Himal Base Camp. The trail is steep and offers fabulous views of Annapurna, Hiunchuli, Fishtail, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, and more. After enjoying the views, we'll trek back to Low Camp and then descend to Siding village to experience the local culture and lifestyle.

Day 07 :
Hike to Lumre and Return to Pokhara

Our last trekking day takes us from Siding through dense forests and small settlements to Lumre. After the trek, we'll drive back to Pokhara. Spend the rest of the day resting or exploring local markets and tourist sites.

Day 08 :
Return to Kathmandu

We'll drive back to Kathmandu along the scenic highway. Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring local markets or visiting nearby tourist sites. Join us for a farewell dinner in the evening.

Note: For a full day in Kathmandu, you can opt for a short flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu for an additional fee.
