This trek gives you a special experience as you pass through untouched villages like Dole and Thame, cross Nepal’s biggest glacier (Ngozumpa), and reach the stunning Gokyo Lakes.
The highest point of the trek is Renjo La Pass at 5,340 meters (17,519 ft). It’s a tough climb, but the views and sense of achievement are totally worth it. You’ll be surrounded by peaceful nature and towering mountains.
You’ll also hike to the fourth and fifth Gokyo Lakes—both incredibly beautiful and calm. If you’ve trekked before or are up for a challenge, this route is a great choice.
In short, the Gokyo Renjo La Pass trek offers breathtaking views and a true Himalayan adventure, far from the crowds and commercialized trails. It’s perfect if you want to see the Everest region from a different and more peaceful perspective.
