Mera Peak Climbing
Mera Peak stands as one of Nepal’s most sought-after trekking peaks, offering both adventure and stunning natural beauty. The journey to Mera Base Camp takes you through secluded valleys filled with lush pine and rhododendron forests, far from human settlements. Situated to the south of Mount Everest, the peak presents a non-technical climb, though deep snow and hidden crevasses can pose challenges and may lengthen the trek to the top.
What makes this expedition particularly special is the trek itself — a chance to explore a rarely-visited, untouched part of Nepal with densely forested hills and breathtaking views. While there is a well-established route to base camp, thrill-seekers can opt for alternative paths such as Amphu Labtsa Pass (5,780m) and Mingbo-La Pass (5,871m), which offer more daring routes through icy valleys and high-altitude landscapes.
